"Your feedback as core of our decisions. We looked forward to this moment for a long time and it's finally here" The challenge Making changes to properties in Amsterdam is always a big challenge. Especially when a monumental building is involved in the plans. It took over a year to translate all the desired changes into actual plans. And while we firstly intended to improve ALL points that our guests have pointed out for improvement, we quickly discovered that our residence and municipality of Amsterdam only allowed a restricted number of changes. Despite of what was not allowed, with the help of an interior architect, we still managed to come to a new interioir design in the third quarter of 2019. Though some radical changes to the structure of our building could not be realized, we are still extremely happy that with everything that has been established. We can proundly say that a whole new way of extraordinairy experience is now offered It's all about experience With the new design of our hotel we want to bring the historic value of our architecture together with the authentic Dutch experience. Together with the expertise of our team and personal care, we can be sure to let you experience all our core values. Convenient, Authentic and Personal. Funky, colorful and peaceful at the same time As you may have read earlier, the architect of our residence is the same person who designed the Amsterdam Central Station, Rijksmuseum and many famous churches. The patterns that you see througout the design are based on the style of Cuypers and/or from his time. With the color palette we want to create an environment that brings a familiar, warm, balanced, energetic and slightly funky feeling. Balanced to give you the best experience. Future-proof Besides a new interior, future-prove means modern technology. With the design of the hotel, we also took all aspects into consideration that will make life easier. This involves online check-in, online check-out, payment by link, self-check-in and many more! Other features that we also being implemented are for example, having a mobile check-in, portable devices offering free internet and voice, GPS, walking-routes, portable hot spot and many more!
